About Us

DR. GORDON LAWSON:

I am a duly qualified chiropractor licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario.  I graduated with a chiropractic degree from The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.  I am certified with The Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences, with a specialty in sports injuries and rehabilitation.  I am certified with The College of Chiropractic Orthopaedists in orthopaedics.  I am a certified evaluator in Impairment and Disability Rating in the AMA Guide to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 4th Edition by the American Board of Forensic Professionals (certification #1156). I also hold specialist certification with The American College of Clinical Nutrition.  I am Assistant Professor at The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and have held various positions over many years.  I hold advanced credential status in pain with the Canadian Academy of Pain Management.  I am in private practice in Unionville, Ontario.  I have been qualified as an expert witness in the discipline of chiropractic and nutrition in The Superior Court of Ontario.  Based upon my education, training and experience I am qualified to express an opinion related to injuries and impairments and able to reach a diagnosis, as well as determine the seriousness and permanency of impairments.  A full and complete curriculum vitae is available upon request.
 
DR. GORDON KO:
I am a duly qualified physician licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario.  I graduated with a medical degree from The University of Toronto in 1982.  I was certified with The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1988 with a specialty in physiatry, which deals with physical medicine and rehabilitation.  I hold a subspecialty in Pain Medicine (American Board of Pain Medicine). I am an Adjunct Lecturer, Division of Physiatry, Department of Medicine, University of Toronto and former Senior University Associate Professor.  I am a Physiatry consultant at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (University of Toronto) who heads up the Fibromyalgia-pain Integrative Medicine clinic in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. I am in private practice at The Canadian Centre For Integrative Medicine in Markham, Ontario. I was former Director of the Burn Injury Rehabilitation Clinic at St. John’s Rehabilitation Hospital. Based upon my education, training and experience, I am qualified to express an opinion related to the injuries and impairments, and able to determine the seriousness and permanency of the impairments.  A full and complete curriculum vitae is available upon request.
